ACA is proud to be a part of the global celebration of Pride Month throughout June. This annual observance provides an opportunity to recognize and honor the incredible contributions made by the LGBTQIA+ community and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a workplace that values diversity and promotes inclusivity.

At ACA, we firmly believe that a diverse workforce is the cornerstone of innovation and creativity. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, feel valued and supported. Pride Month serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of diversity and offers us a chance to reaffirm our unwavering dedication to equality and acceptance.

This year, our theme for the celebrations is Love is Love. We take immense pride in highlighting the initiatives organized by ACA's LGBTQ+ and ally employee resource group, ACA ALLiance. Our planned company initiatives during the month of June are designed to promote education, support, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ issues, and are encouraging our employees to participate.

ACA’s ALLiance group will host a lively panel discussion featuring Tony-winning producer JJ Maley and other guest speakers who will share their personal journeys with identity and gender, offering unique perspectives and invaluable insights. The team also has a Leadership Presentation planned with guest speaker Bernadette Smith, who will deliver a powerful presentation titled "Born This Way: Leveraging your Identity as a Leadership Asset." Bernadette’s session will provide valuable guidance on embracing one's identity and leveraging it as a catalyst for professional growth.

In collaboration with the ALLiance, Asian and Pacific Islander, and Mental Health employee resource groups, this month’s book club selection employees will discuss and learn from experiences shared in the book "On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous" by Ocean Vuong. A thought-provoking book exploring themes of identity and belonging.

By embracing respectful conversations, challenging stereotypes, and demonstrating empathy towards one another, we can continue to build a workplace where everyone feels comfortable being their authentic selves, free from prejudice and discrimination.
