How ACA’s Form PF Solutions Can Help Lighten the Load
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s ("SEC") Form PF presents many challenges for investment advisers, particularly those that have large data sets and multiple administrators. To save time, reduce risk, and increase operational efficiencies, it can be helpful to let someone else do the heavy lifting when it comes to Form PF filings.
How We Help Annual Form PF Filers
ACA offers Private Fund Reporting Depository (“PFRD”) administration services to annual Form PF filers through ACA’s Analysis and Review Center (ARC), which provides scalable solutions for Form PF administration depending on your firm’s structure and reporting requirements.
How it Works
Your firm will send its filing data to ACA’s Form PF Team using an approved format. We will then prepare a draft of your year-end Form PF filing through the PFRD system and submit the filing to the SEC upon your review and approval.
Our experienced Form PF team will also provide guidance on Form PF filing requirements and specific questions. In addition, we can conduct a focused reasonableness review of your draft Form PF filing and provide feedback based on our experience with your peers and our understanding of the regulator’s perspective.
How We Help Firms with Large Data Sets and/or Multiple Admins
Firms with large data sets and/or multiple administrators face unique challenges when filing Form PF. For these firms, we offer a solution that combines ACA’s Regulatory Reporting platform (“ACA RR”) with the ARC’s Form PF administration services. ACA RR is the industry-leading platform for aggregating, reviewing, and submitting regulatory filings. ACA RR has been successfully used by firms of all sizes to more efficiently meet their regulatory reporting obligations while reducing risk and adhering to industry best practices.
How We Help Quarterly Form PF Filers
Firms that need to file Form PF on a quarterly basis can benefit from ACA’s RR platform, as it is designed to help reduce risk and increase operational efficiencies through:
- Automated, repeatable workflows for generating filings;
- Data validations at multiple stages;
- “Filing-over-filing” reports to help identify inconsistencies or questions;
- Internal notes to document assumptions; and
- Easy access to the source data used in filings.
