Kenny Clowers is the co-head of ACA’s global Regulatory Compliance practice. In this role, he is responsible for development and oversight of ACA’s regulatory compliance solutions, which leverage consulting, managed services, and technology to support over 6,400 financial services firms globally.
Prior to assuming his current role, Kenny worked with ACA clients to find solutions to fit their unique needs and challenges as a leader for ACA’s Private Equity and Hedge Fund practice groups. As a Senior Principal Consultant with ACA, Kenny provided advice to investment advisers, hedge fund managers, and private equity firms on compliance with federal securities laws. In this role, he led or participated in examinations, thematic reviews, and risk-targeted sweeps of private fund and retail investment advisers and of investment companies. These routine and cause-related examinations yielded several referrals to the Division of Enforcement.
Prior to the SEC, Kenny worked for State Street Corporation in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Senior Accountant. In this role, he worked with and oversaw a team of fund accountants responsible for processing securities trading, settlement, corporate actions activity, and daily NAV calculations.
