Dan Mistler joined ACA as a partner to found ACA’s ESG advisory and analytics practice. In this career, he has led the development of ESG programs for private markets investors, hedge funds, and diversified financial services firms. He has helped entrepreneurs raise funds from ESG and impact-interested investors, quantified environmental and social impact in transactions, guided investors and companies in monetizing the environmental and social aspects of their businesses, and assisted asset managers in getting the most out of ESG reporting. Dan is also a thought leader on the connections between ESG and impact, speaking regularly on these topics at industry events.
Prior to his work at ACA, Dan led ESG services at multiple other global and boutique consulting firms, focusing on financial services and implementing ESG with assets across sectors. Previous roles have included ESG Business Advisor at Bridge House Advisors, Founding Partner of ESG EDGE, Senior Manager at EY, and Principal Consultant and Innovation Leader at Environmental Resources Management.
Dan obtained his Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey and his Master of Arts in Public Policy from George Washington University.
