An endpoint is any device connected to your enterprise network — laptops, PCs, and printers, for example. In addition to these devices, the average worker uses 3 or more mobile devices per day for work activities, then multiply that by the number of employees in your organization, and you’ll have an idea of how many devices may be connected to your network at any given point in time.
